I needed to decide on a magazine name for a House music magazine, so for inspiration I decided to look up technical terms that are used by DJ's. The last two are the ones that I liked the most, hence why they are on the list. 

 

• Download - I chose this as music is very digital in the present day and many songs are downloaded rather than bought, so I thought it would be a relevent name

• BassDrop - The 'basedrop' of most house music is one of the best parts of the song

• rAve - Another word for partying, which is associated with gigs and concerts

• Pulse - same as a 'beat'

• Rewind - DJ's rewind and mix music at gigs etc

• Doanload - I can't use this name as apparently it's the name of a rock festival and I dont want any misconseptions

• BassDrop - 1

• rAve - 0

• Pulse - 7

• Rewind - 2

 

As you can see, Pulse' was a clear winner. I am happy with this as I thought it was one of my strongest name ideas. Now I all I need to do is to decided on what font to use for my masterhead/name of magazine.
