Below are the photographs that I took for my magazine cover, arranged in a contact sheet. For the cover I used one of my friends. I got her to dress up in a crop-top and to straighten her hair. In terms of props I had a pair of beats headphones and I thought that they would look nice around her neck. Since my genre of magazine is 'House' I thought they would work really well. When it came down to the compositioning of the images, I wanted to keep to simple. We experimented taking photographs against to different backdrops (white and bricks) and tried a range of different poses. However personally I found the simple photographs the most effective.
