Elemental Flower Experimentation

Statement of Intent:

Fire is a very difficult medium to work with and it is not a force to be reckoned with. It was a fun shoot to do and it was interesting to consider different ways of lighting a flower. I took around 200 photographs and only a few of them were any good.  After a bit of tweaking on photoshop I achieved some beautiful photographs that capture this wonderful element and medium.

For my final shoot I wish to combine a few ideas, whilst sticking to the elemental theme. I wish to freeze bits of flowers and ink in water, and then photograph the results. I don't know how successful it will be but I think it could be beautiful if it's done correctly. I will use distilled water rather than tap water for this as it freezes clear rather than cloudy like tap water does. This is important so that I can see the bits of flower and ink frozen in the ice. In terms of location, I will shoot it in the corner of my living room, where I did the 'Josef Sudek developed Shoot.'
