Above is my Josef Sudek developed photoshoot that consists of 35 photographs. The shoot went to plan and I managed to experiment with a variety of different glasses etc. However when taking some of the photographs I thought they would look more interesting if the water wasn't so flat. So instead of using plain water I tired using sparkling water. Of course it has the same effect as normal water but instead of being flat it contains small carbonate bubbles. They defiantly made some of the compositions more interesting.

When emptying the glasses of water I was fascinated by the water left behind on the glasses. So I decided to photograph the empty glasses. They reminded me of some the the photographs in Sudek's 'The Window in My Studio' series because of the way the water was hanging onto the glass.

In terms of camera settings I kept the shutter speed high as I was taking the photographs freehand and kept the aperture at about F7.1. This gave me results that were almost perfect in terms of the right lighting. I managed to use the light from the patio doors and utilized the curtains to allow me to experiment with different exposures.
