After undergoing the Josef Sudek developed photoshoot, I decided that I wanted to continue photographing water/liquids in glass. This time, however, I wanted to experiment with dripping inks into water. So I gathered a couple of different jars and different coloured inks ready for the shoot.
I setup the shoot on a shelf in our classroom and decided that I wanted utilize the natural light coming in though the window for the shoot. I placed the shelf so that light could enter through the back and shine on the subject (I managed to do this because the shelf had no back).
I began the shoot in monochrome but after a few photographs I realized that I couldn't make use of the different coloured inks properly so I switched back to coloured photography. I also had to shoot using an ISO of about 400 as the mock photographs that I took were too dark. This was partially due to the fact that the shutter speed had to be high enough so that there wasn't any blur in the photographs.
I wish to repeat the shoot again in the hope to improve on what I have learnt with this shoot.
